ASTROLOGY AS A BUSINESS

Modern Astrology can be divided into two forms. The popular form and the more seriously practiced form. The lesser known methodology of astrology involves practicing of the same in the forms of psychological consultation and alternative medicine. As far as the effects of these therapies go, it can be judged by only those who are involved. People involved in this branch of Astrology advocate the fact that no one can really predict what will happen to a person, they merely give information in the form of a mirror image of disposition. Currently, the most common and widespread of astrology is the popular form, which presents itself in the form of daily horoscopes in the newspapers, magazines and the innumerable websites. Often such pieces are so far away from the truth that there is no basic foundation that exists for these predictions and are intended for the soul purpose of minting money. It is really sad that the whole wonder and mystery attached to this concept has completely been wasted. Astrology doesn't make much sense when approached solely through the intellect. There's a lot of synthesis involved, and there's always more to learn. The sky has always made man wonder. Is the study and evolution of Astrology as an art an attempt to reach out and touch the impossible? Maybe it is for some. For others it is just a question of belief. Come to think of it, isn't everything just that?
